W. O. Fire Safety Training is a leading provider of comprehensive fire safety, health & safety, manual handling, and COSHH training. With a focus on tailored training solutions, equipping our Learners with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain a safe work environment, and to act if necessary to ensure the safety of staff and visitors on the premises.
About Me
My name is Will Ockleshaw and I own W. O. Fire Safety Training.
I pride myself on providing my Learners with the highest quality training possible, using a variety of methods and tailoring the training to my Clients - and to the Learners themselves'.
I undertake regular Continued Professional Development, above and beyond the requirements of my memberships.
I enjoy learning - and teaching fire safety, first aid, and health & safety subjects.
I care about the subjects I teach and I want to make a positive difference to my Clients.
As a father. Family and community matter to me, and so I offer free training to my local community in both first aid and domestic fire safety, working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations to give people from all backgrounds the knowledge and understanding on the subjects, and building their confidence to step up when others step away.
Having a teenage daughter myself, I'm also currently developing a community course aimed at giving first aid skills to teenagers, and giving them the confidence to help others.
About my accreditations & memberships
Accreditated training
I use ProTrainings UK to accredit my training courses. As part of that, my RQF courses are accrited by TQUK.
This mean that the certificate for the RQF qualifications will be one from TQUK.
My VTQ courses are accredited by ProTrainings themselves and as such successful Learners will receive a ProTrainings UK certificate.
For any Unregulated or in-house training, a certificate will be produced by me and will detail the training provided, the attendees' names, date, and recommended refresher date.
Professional Memberships
In addition to my ProTraining membership, I also hold professional memberships with the following:
- The Fire Protection Association
- The Institution of Fire Safety Managers
